In a time of multiple threats, INTERSCHUTZ 2026 opens its doors with a catchphrase that is both an appeal and a promise. As a long-standing partner of the world‘s leading trade fair for fire services, rescue services and civil protection, the German Industrial Fire Protection Association (WFVD) is taking up this theme and intensifying it in line with the association‘s purpose:

The German Industrial Fire Protection Association – Werkfeuerwehrverband Deutschland e.V. (WFVD) – is the voice for more than 800 Industrial Fire Departments in Germany, protecting the risks of various industries, companies and the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). We represent over 40.000 experts in Industrial Fire Protection and Disaster Prevention. Active throughout Germany, we also strive to evolve our network and offer our industry know-how internationally. Our primary goals are to protect people, businesses and facilities: Safeguarding industry is our mission!
How can we help our experts to fulfil this mission in the wake of growing and, in somecases, new dangers? Through intensive networking within the international community of Industrial Fire Protection and Disaster Prevention. Together with the companies whose products support and enable our mission.
